SPECIAL EVENT: October 25, 2014, will be an evening event open to the public where attendees will be able to meet and get to know the warriors participating in the 2014 Phoenix Soldier Ride and be offered a rare opportunity to tour and explore the Frank Lloyd Wright designed U-Haul House – in exchange for a $100 donation to Wounded Warrior Project. Event details and donation options will be updated in the coming weeks.

Soldier Ride is a unique opportunity for wounded service members and veterans to use cycling and the bonds of service to overcome physical, mental, or emotional wounds. The rides help warriors gain confidence and provide many with the tools to return to an active lifestyle.

Members of Team U-Haul will cycle side by side with these heroes as they undertake this challenge to raise public awareness and support for wounded veterans and their families.

One hundred percent of the donations collected will go to Wounded Warrior Project, which provides 20 programs and services that are specifically structured to engage warriors, nurture their minds and bodies, and encourage their economic empowerment. Warrior families and caregivers are also provided comfort, care, and education to help support the recovery of their injured warrior.

Please show your support for the 2014 Team U-Haul by making a tax-free donation via debit or credit card to the cyclist you wish to support, or make your contribution in support of the entire team.

U-Haul Team members will be given the option to make a one-time or one-year contribution via payroll deduction. (Wounded Warrior Project is a 501[c]3 organization, federal tax ID number: 20-2370934.)

All contributions made will be matched dollar for dollar by U-Haul with a maximum cap of $100,000.
